GEOMEMBRANES
ANDEX supplies geomembranes with ISO 9002 certification, made with “virgin” resin, whose resistance is adequate for exposure to weathering; being low cost alternatives for applications in Environmental Engineering: reservoirs, settlers, channels, pads, pits, ponds, emergency containment systems, stabilization and oxidation ponds, landfills, waterproofing of structures, etc.
ANDEX has a wide range of Geomembranes:
- HDPE, LDPE, VLDPE y PVC.
- Smooth, structured on one side, or on both sides.
Single color on both sides, or 2 different colors.
- Reinforced Polyolefins and PVC.
- Geomembranes with different thicknesses from 0.5 mm – 2.5 mm.
- Floating covers to reduce losses due to evaporation.
According to the type of project we offer geomembranes of:
Standard grade geomembranes
High Density Polyethylene (HDPE)
- Semi rigid.
- Variable thicknesses.
- Resistance to chemical and biological degradation and to UV rays.
-
Smooth, rough, or structured simple or double.
Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE)
- Moderate Flexibility.
- Variable thicknesses.
- Smooth, rough, or structured simple or double.
- Resistance to chemical degradation – biological and UV rays.
Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC)
- High reflectivity.
- Variable thicknesses.
- High flexibility.
- Smooth, textured, and non-slip.
Special geomembranes
They are geomembranes technically treated with special stabilizers, or different manufacturing processes, achieving a breakthrough in flexible geomembrane technology.
- Different thicknesses.
- High flexibility.
- Excellent resistance and longevity properties.
- Great chemical resistance – biological and UV rays.
Applications:
- Reservoirs
- Dykes and dams
- Control of algae
- Odor control
- Vapor barriers
- Heap leach pads
- Landfills
- Irrigation channels
- Oxidation ponds
- Evaporation control
